Mrs. Seeley Dies, Funeral Thursday

Ill for several months, Mrs. Emma Cook Seeley, wife of Frank F. Seeley, 104 Cherry street, died at her home at 8:30 o’clock last night.

Born in New York City, the daughter of the late Franklin and Gwynell Morgan Cook, Mrs. Seeley came here to reside as a child, returning to New York while still a child. She was educated in the New York school, and after her marriage to Mr. Seeley, 32 years ago, came here to make her home.

Active in fraternal organizations, until her illness, Mrs. Seeley was a member of Excelsior Rebekah lodge, Camp 11, Patriotic Order of America, Betsy Ross council, Son and Daughters of Liberty and of the Ah Theres.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 3:30 o’clock Thursday. The Rev. C. Edward Hopkin, rector of the Church of the Holy Comforter, Will officiate. Burial will be in the Poughkeepsie Rural cemetery, under direction of the McCornac Funeral service.

Camp 11 will conduct services at the home at 7 o’clock tomorrow night with Mrs. Anna Konsier having charge and Excelsior Rebekah lodge will conduct services at 7:30 o’clock with Mrs. Gladys DeNike officiating.
