Seeley, Emma Eloise, Formerly of Bay City

Mrs. Seeley, age 93 years, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at her residence. She was born on October 2, 1914 in Bay City the daughter of the late James Gillespie and Agnes Willet Gillespie. She was a retired bookkeeper for Singer Company, member of the Church of God, Bay City, AARP and attended the Hartwell First Presbyterian Church in Georgia.

Survivors include her daughter, Arleen (Mike) DePeal of Canon; two sons, Ronald (Kathy) Dolsen of Bay City and Donald (Lucy) Dolsen of Carolina, Puerto Rico; a brother, Byron Gillespie of Bay City; two sisters, Marian Taylor of Bay City and Eva Arthur of Coleman; twelve grandchildren; twenty two great-grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband G. Oliver Seeley; a great-grand-daughter, Jennifer DePeal; one sister, Verna Dixon; three brothers: James, Ivan and Howard Gillespie; and two step-daughters, Joan and Pat.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 1 p.m. from Rivertown Funeral Chapel with Pastor Michael Harmon presiding with burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disability Services, Resource Center, 1820 N. Trumbull, Bay City 48708.
