SEELEY – Friends of Emma M. Seeley may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and attend the funeral there at 1:30 Friday. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.


SEELEY

Emma M. Seeley, 84, of 630 W. Spruce St. died Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Titusville Hospital, where she had been admitted earlier that day.

She was born in Crawford County, Sept. 1, 1892, a daughter of Charles and Mary Claire Mott.

Her husband, Earnest Seeley, died in March 1954.

Mrs. Seeley is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Hazel) Foley, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Wade (Marie) Martin of Tidlcute; a son, Charles E. Seeley of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Roberts of Grand Valley, RD 1; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

A son, Arthur, died in 1936, and a daughter, Mrs. Sadie S. Shrout, Feb. 20, 1967. One sister also preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m., and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and attend the funeral there at 1:30 p.m. Friday with Rev. Robert W. Wallace, pastor of the Titusville Free Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The funeral service for Mrs. Emma M. Seeley was conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Wallace, pastor of Titusville Free Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Al Lowros, Danny Lowros, Tom Morrical, Charles Hawthorne, Larry Carnahan and Harold Moore.

Attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Wade Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Carnahan, Mrs. James Williams and Lilly of Tidioute, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Seeley, Sheila Summerell and Rhonda Grant of Lake Park, Fla., Mrs. Tom Tarr and Janette Tarr of Laurel, Miss., Mr. and Mrs. Harold Moore of Warren, O., Mrs. Patricia Birchard of North Warren, Mrs. Fred Stufflebeam of Grand Valley, RD 1, Mrs. John Moronski, of Pittsfield, RD 2, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Teed and Charles Snyder of Erie.

Mrs. Seeley was preced in death by a daughter, who died in infancy and by two half brothers, Ray and William Mott.
