BAR HARBOR – Ernest E. Seeley, 68, died Dec. 16, 2001, at a MDI hospital. He was born Jan. 3, 1933, in Dennysville, the son of Hubert L. and Ida E. (Walls) Seeley. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Ernest was a gardener for a number of estates of Mt. Desert Island, and in his later work life, he worked in maintenance for the state housing authority. He is survived by two nieces, Susan Challis and husband, Steven of Walpole, Mass., Cynthia Lawry and husband, Glen Byterdorp of Salt Lake City, Utah; two nephews, Philip Lawry and wife, Carol of Everglade City, Fla., and Charles Lawry and wife, Donna of Bedford, Mass. He was predeceased by a nephew, David M. Lawry. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at the Otter Creek Cemetery, Otter Creek, with the Rev. William M.
