Funeral services for Ernestine Neel Seeley, age 71, of Latexo, were held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, at the First Assembly of God Church in Crockett with the Rev. Albert Cortez, the Rev. Olen Troutman, and the Rev. Dewayne Dodd officiating. Interment followed in the Latexo Cemetery.

Mrs. Seeley passed away Wednesday, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Mrs. Seeley was born May 24, 1930 in Houston County to the late Albert Neel and wife Alice Whitaker Neel. Mrs. Seeley was a homemaker. Mrs. Seeley was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Crockett.

Mrs. Seeley was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters, Carmal Beaird, Elsie Neel, Flora Poole, Ora Bell Cohagen, Evelyn Patton, Fairlee McQueen, Adalou Ray, a brother Jim Neel, and a grandson Kenny Clark.

Mrs. Seeley is survived by her husband Frank Seeley; three daughters Joyce Gonzales, of Riverside, Debra Clark, of Latexo, and Beverly Arenas, of Crockett, a son Stanley Seeley, of Houston, four sisters Maydell Brown of Latexo, Earlene Ham, of Crockett, Albertine Hutcherson, of Spring, and Betty Jo Stanridge, of Whitehouse, a brother A.C. Neel, of Latexo, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Ernestine Neel Seeley, 71, Latexo, sister of a Whitehouse resident, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in Crockett with the Revs. Albert Cortez, Odom Troutman and Dewayne Dood officiating.

Burial will be in Latexo Cemetery under direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Grapeland.

Mrs. Seeley died April 17 in a Tyler hospital.

She was born May 24, 1930, in Houston County to the late Albert and Alice Whitaker Neel. She was a homemaker and member of First Assembly of God Church in Crockett. She was preceded in death by grandson, Kenny Clark; sisters, Camal Beaird, Elsie Nell, Flora Poole, Ora Bell Cahagen, Evelyn Patton, Fairlee McQueen and Adalou Ray; and brother; Jim Neel.

Survivors include daughters, Joyce Gonzales, Riverside, Debra Clark, Latexo, and Beverly Arenas, Crockett; son, Stanley Seeley, Houston; sisters, Maydell Brown, Latexo, Earlene Ham, Crockett, Albertine Hutcherson, Spring, and Betty Jo Stanridge, Whitehouse; brother, A.C. Neel, Latexo; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home
