PublicationERNEST LYLE SEELEY Ernest Lyle Seeley, 98, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, May 19, 2006 at Atlantic Healthcare Center after a brief illness. Mr. Seeley was born April 15, 1908 in Blockville, NY and moved to Vero Beach in 1958 from Jamestown, NY. He had been employed at the Jamestown Veneer & Plywood Factory for 28 years before moving to Vero Beach where he owned and operated several used car lots and Phillips 66 Service Stations and was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Mr. Seeley was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mary C. Seeley. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John P. and Debbie Seeley, Sr. of Vero Beach; a brother John T. Seeley of Salsbury, NC; five grandchildren, Wendy M. Seeley of Stuart, FL and John P. Seeley Jr., John C. Carter, Angel A. Seeley and Richard E. Seeley of Vero Beach; eight greatgrandchildren and a sister-inlaw, Rose Bogardus of Vero Beach. SERVICES: The family will receive friends 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the Cox-Gifford- Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Mass will follow at 2PM, at St. Helen Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach, FL.
