Erwin Seeley, 92, South Onondaga Pioneer, Dies

Erwin L. Seeley, 92, of South Onondaga, died Saturday in a Skaneateles nursing home where he had been a patient three months.

Mr. Seeley was born in South Onondaga and was a member of a pioneer family. He was one of the first apple growers in the section. He was a charter member of the South Onondaga Grange, and was also a member of the South Onondaga Methodist Church.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Norris Funeral Home, Marcellus, the Rev. Richard L. Tillapaugh officiating. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow at the funeral home.
