Mrs. Ira W. Seeley

On Sunday, at her home, at Fair Oaks, occurred the death of Estella F., wife of Ira W. Seeley, aged nearly 42 years.

Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seth Hackenbury, and was born at Libertyville, N.J. After her marriage to Mr. Seeley, they removed to Mount Hope and there remained for some time. It was while they dwelt there that an overwhelming bereavement came upon the family by the death of three children and a nephew of 18 years of age, of diphtheria, caused by a cess-pool backing into a well. Another child died about three years since. She had thus seen much sorrow and bereavement, but remained patient, sweet and resigned to the end, through glad to be released and be with those who had gone before. Tuberculosis was the cause of death.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mabel, Hazel and Mary, at home: also by one sister and three brothers, all residing at a distance, with the exception of a brother, Charles Hackenbury, in this city.

The funeral notice appears elsewhere.
