Frank Nelson Seeley, 82, of Diamond, RD 2, died at the Sharp’s Convalescent Home in Pleasantville at 10:45 a.m. yesterday after a long illness.

Mr. Seeley was born Feb. 28, 1881, at Diamond, RD 2, a son of Charles Grandison and Susanna Hollabaugh Seeley. Mr. Seeley married Bessie Bearce Dec. 31, 1904. She died Aug. 22, 1913. He then married Goldie Nellis Prody July 31, 1932. Mr. Seeley had been a farmer all his life in the Diamond area.

Mr. Seeley is survived by his wife and the following sons: Paul A. Seeley of Jamestown, N.Y.; Lawrence W. of Spring Grove; and Lee Seeley Symonds of Anaheim, Calif.; one daughter, Twila Seeley, at home and one stepson, Laird Prody of Titusville and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Theodore W. Kuhns Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and attend the funeral service there at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Vernon Whitney, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery.

The funeral service for Frank N. Seeley was held at 2 p.m. yesterday at the Theodore W. Kuhns Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon G. Whitney, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Rev. Whitney used Scripture John 14: 1-3, and he read the hymn, “God Understands” and the 23rd Psalm.

Interment was in the family plot in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Arthur Nellis and Arthur Nellis Jr., Owen Nellis, Thomas B. Prody, Carl Baron and Gail Moyer.

Attending from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Seeley of Spring Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Seeley of Jamestown, N.Y., Mrs. Quinton Millard, Ronald Millard and Miss Ruth Proper of guys Mills; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nellis and Mrs. Elsie Snow, Mrs. Patricia Buchna all of Franklin; Mr. and Mrs. S. Stahlman of North East.
