Frederick Seeley, 35, Dies in Olean Hospital

Frederick E. Seeley, aged 35 years died this morning at 4.45 o’clock in the Olean General hospital after an illness of the past 11 days.

Mr. Seeley was born in Bradford and was a resident of this city 23 years and of Olean the past 20 years. He was employed by the West Ridge Motor Coach Company. Mr. Seeley was a member of the B.R.T. of Olean and of the P.H.C. of Salamanca.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Nina Seeley of Cleveland, O., he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Seeley of 24 Orchard street, this city; a brother, Harry Seeley of Wellsville; a nephew, Frederick I. Seeley of Wellsville, and a cousin, Will J. Dougherty of Belmont.

The body was taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Seeley, 24 Orchard street, where services will be held Monday afternoon at 1.30, and from St. Mary’s church at 2 o’clock. Rev. E.T. Pancoast will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Wildwood cemetery.

Funeral of Frederick E. Seeley

The funeral of Frederick E. Seeley was held from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Seeley, 24 Orchard street, Monday afternoon at 1:30 and from St. Mary’s church at 2 o’clock. Rev. E.T. Pancoast officiated. Burial was in the family plot in Wildwood cemetery.

The bearers were Clyde Medland, Lawrence Sheehan, Gordon Winchell, John Granduskey, Robert Nutt and Edward Hartley.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Harry Seeley of Wellsville, William J. Dougherty of Belmont, Mrs. Fred Seeley, Mrs. Gordon Winchell and Malcom Richey of Olean, Mrs. Mary Seeley, Marsellous Seeley, Mrs. Helen Seeley, Emmett Seeley, John Seeley, Alice Herbert, Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Herbert, Clarence Herbert, Jr., R.D. Herbert, Mrs. Burley Underwood, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Knight, Mrs. Furman Shultz, Mrs. Robert Couch, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Downs, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ryan and Mrs. J. Zook of Bradford, and Joseph Helpbridge and Miss Gertrude Helphride of Spencerport.

Letters of Administration Granted on Estates in County

Administration upon the $400 personal estate of Frederick Emmett Seeley, Olean, who died January 15, was granted to his widow, Nina, 30, 207 East Oak street. The father is Iris (sic), 58, Salamanca, and a brother, Harold W., 36, Stanard, N.Y.
