Death Claims Sister Of Monticello Woman

MONTICELLO – Mrs. Gae Myers Seeley, of Indianapolis, a frequent visitor to this community, died Sunday at Community hospital in Indianapolis. She was the sister of Mrs. Maucie Kassabaum of here.

A retired school teacher, she had taught in Frankton, Ind., Columbia, Mo., and for several years was a chemistry instructor at Lake Forrest College north of Chicago.

Born in Penola, Ill., she was the daughter of Squire William and Isabell Stumpaugh Myers. Her husband, Charles W. Seeley, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority of Phi Gamma, and a graduate of Indiana University.

Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ruth Gardner, of Washington, D.C., and a brother, Clark Myers, of Brandenton, Fla.

Graveside rites will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Riverview cemetery, the Rev. Wallace McDonald officiating. Friends may call at the Aufenberg & White Funeral Home in Monticello.
