Garth Wellington Seeley

Garth Wellington Seeley, 28, of 2903 Madison, was found dead Friday night of a gunshot wound.

Mr. Seeley was born May 17, 1939, in Clawson, Utah, a son of Frank and Orva D. Sanders Seeley.

He was reared and educated in Ogden and Ely, Nev., graduating from Ely High School.

In 1958 he started working at the Ogden Mail Terminal and formerly worked at Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic.

On Oct. 29, 1961, he was married to Lynn Beutler Kerby in Elko, Nev.

He joined the Utah National Guard in 1962 and served for six years. He had the rank of sergeant.

He was a member of the Ogden Water Skiing Club and the LDS Church.

Surviving are his widow, one stepson and one stepdaughter, Jeffery Wayne Kerby and Mrs. Larry (Debbie) Arbon, both of Ogden; his parents of Ogden, two brothers and three sisters, Frank S. Seeley, Fresno, Calif., Larry Dean Seeley, Mrs. Peter (Marilyn) Martinez, both of Ogden; Mrs. Norman (Beth) Sevy, Mountain Green, Utah; Mrs. Robert (Leah) Nielsen, Roy.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary.

The family will meet friends at the chapel Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until services. Burial in the Aulforest Memorial Park.
