Gaston William Seeley, 48

WATERBORO -- Gaston William Seeley, 48, of Waterboro, formerly of Portland died peacefully Oct. 7, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Portland with his loving family by his side.

He was born June 28, 1959, in Rochester, N.Y., the son of Earl and Dorothy (Collins) Seeley. He attended Portland schools.

Gaston was a Master Oil Burner Technician and worked for Union Oil Company. Among his many interests, Gaston was a scuba diver, enjoyed playing darts and loved all sports.

Gaston was predeceased by his mother. Surviving are his wife Linda L. (Burbank) Seeley of Waterboro; his father, the Rev. Earl Seeley of West Virginia; four daughters, Echo Downs and her husband Daniel of Standish, Heather Seeley of Portland, Jamie and Billie Jean Seeley, both of Waterboro; two sisters, Mary Stewart and her husband Bill of Otisfield, Martha McCormack and her husband Richard of Sanford; two brothers, Edwin Seeley and his wife Katie of New York, Earl Seeley of Otisfield and four grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State St., Portland. A 1 p.m. funeral service will be held Thursday at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest City Cemetery, South Portland with Military Honors.
