George William Seeley, 77, passed away August 22, 2006. He was born on October 5, 1928 in South Boston, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeri Schudder Seeley, his parents, Percy and Agnes Mary Riley Seeley, a brother, Edward Seeley, and his sister, Helen Logan.
Mr. Seeley was the Founder and Owner of Shamrock Demolition Services for over Thirty years in Portland, Texas and was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by his children, George W. Seeley of Pennsylvania, Jeanmarie Kurowski of Massachusetts, Peter W. Seeley of Tennessee, David A. Seeley of Texas; step-children, Robert D. Hardin of Texas and Teresa Nguyen of Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; sisters, Jacqueline Tammaro and Carol Holloway both of Massachusetts, Jean Masterson of Arizona; brothers, Robert, Gerard, and Frederick Seeley all of Massachusetts.
A visitation and gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Guardian Chapel-Corpus Christi. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Portland. Interment will follow at San Patricio Memorial Gardens in Portland.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Christus Spohn Hospice-Corpus Christi, Texas.
