Georgia L. Seeley, 61, of R.1., Vinton road, Williamsburg, died Monday morning at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The daughter of Joseph and Fanny (Dragroo) Oliver, she was born at Frankfort on Feb. 22, 1914. She lived in the Frankfort and Traverse City areas all her life.

She was married to Clarence Seeley at Williamsburg on Nov. 22, 1934.

Mrs. Seeley was employed as a cream tester by Alpha Creamery in Traverse City for 10 years, and was also employed as a cook and catered by Oleson’s Food Stores. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and gardening.

Proceeded in death by her husband, Clarence in April of 1975. she is survived by a son, Everett Seeley, and a daughter, Mrs. Alexander (Sandra) Davey, both of Williamsburg: five grandchildren: two sisters, Mrs. Lyman (Dorothy) McManus of Grawn and Mrs. Walter “Red” (Mildred) Peters of Elberta.

The funeral is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dockery-Wilhelm-Smith Funeral Home in Elk Rapids with the Rev. Raymond Roe officiating. Burial will be Williamsburg cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 1-9 and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
