HAROLD E. SEELEY OF ST. MARY'S STREET, AVOCA, DIED THURSDAY IN LAKE ARIEL.

Harold E. Seeley of St. Mary's Street, Avoca, died Thursday in Lake Ariel Born in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Mary Hoadley Seeley.

He was a retired miner and a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Avoca.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Roug, in 1981; brothers, Lawrence, Raymond, Gerald and Leroy.

Surviving are his daughter, Ann Marie Dugan, Wallingford, Conn.; sons, Stanley, Laflin; John, at home; Joseph, Lake Ariel; a brother, Robert, Milford; sisters, Beatrice Robinson, Summerfield, Fla.; Laura Evarts, Lake Ariel; Emma Bronson, Carbondale; Margaret Fields, Lake City, S.C.; Shirley Orinich, Trevorville, N.C.; Mildred Evarts, Scranton; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Austin F. O'Malley III Funeral Home, 728 Main St., Avoca, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Saints Peter & Paul Church.

Interment will be in Parrish Cemetery, Moosic.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
