Harold Wayne Seeley, 60, of Layton died peacefully on July 13, 2009, at the home of Michael and Katherine Seeley in Murray from complications related to cancer. He was born Nov. 18, 1948, in Boise, Idaho the third child of James Walter and Florance May Dolan Seeley. He married Janet Archibald on July 31, 1972, in the Logan LDS Temple. They were later divorced. He married Heather M. Lee on July 27, 2006; they were sealed in the Jordan River LDS Temple on June 7, 2008. He attended school in Fruitland and graduated from Fruitland High School and attended Boise State University. He was an electrical engineer, served in the Army during the Vietnam War and worked for Thiokol, Entec and UTA. He purchased and loved a Harley motorcycle that he enjoyed riding everywhere possible and some places not possible. He is survived by his wife, Heather, of Layton; his children, Dorene S. and Darren E. Holt, Michael W. and Katherine R. Seeley, Christine S. and Scott B. Myers, Tracy S. and Jason R. O'Dell; two stepchildren, James A. Schoenfeld and Jacqueline M. Schoenfeld; two granddaughters; one sister and one brother, Helen S. Cooley and Ralph E. Seeley. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Florance D. Seeley, his brother, Walter J. Seeley, and a brother-in-law Richard G. Cooley. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the Fox Creek Chapel, 202 W. 1675 N. Layton, Utah. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at the Myers Funeral Home, 250 N. Fairfield Rd. Layton, Utah 84041. Burial will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
