Knoxville, Pa. – Harriet P. Seeley, 73, of Knoxville RD1 died Thursday in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.

She was born Aug. 6, 1905 in Nelson Township, daughter of Mark and Mabel Wiles Preston.

She was a member of Valley Grange in Academy Corners and the First Presbyterian Church of Nelson. For many years she was a Democratic committeewoman in the Knoxville area.

Surviving are: two sons, Robert P. Seeley of Tioga and Mark of Knoxville RD; daughters, Marian Newberry of Knoxville RD, Mrs. Thomas (Marlene) Palumbo of Waverly, Mrs. Gerald (Helen) Pratt of Knoxville and Mrs. Ronald (Gail) Druetto of Knoxville RD; two brothers, Claude Preston of Largo, Fla. And Melvin Preston of Osceola, RD; 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Charles L. Kenyon Funeral Home in Elkland today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held there Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Knoxville. Friends who wish may make contributions to the Building Fund of the _cutoff_ Grange, Academy Corners.

Harriet P. Seeley, age 73 of Knowville, died on Thursday, January 25, 1979 (sic) at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro.

She was member of the Valley Grange 876, the Presbyterian Church of Nelson and a Democratic Committeewoman for many years.

She is survived by sons, Robert P. Seeley of Tioga, Mark Seeley, of Knoxville RD; daughters, Mrs. Marion Newberry of Knoxvill RD, Mrs. Gerald (Helen) Pratt of Knoxville, Mrs. Thomas (Marlene) Palumbo of Waverly, NY., Mrs. Ronald (Gail) Druetto of Knoxville RD; brothers, Claude Preston of Largo, Florida, Melvin Preston of Osceola, RD; 21 grandchildren: 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral and committal services were held Saturday at the Charles L. Kenyon Funeral Home in Elkland. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery at Knoxville.
