HARVEY E. SEELEY JR.

HARVEY E. SEELEY JR., 54, of Haxtun, a former Security resident, died Sept. 20 in Haxtun. He had been a machinist at Fort Carson and was starting a shop in Haxtun at the time of his death. Mr. Seeley also had worked with his father in a plumbing business.

Graveside services were conducted Saturday at Mountain Vale Memorial Park Cemetery, Canon City. Canon City Masonic Lodge Mount Mariah 15 conducted Masonic rites. Thompson Mortuary, Haxtun, was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Seeley was born April 12, 1935, in Garnett, Kan. He is survived by his father, Harvey E. Seeley Sr. of Colorado Springs. Mr. Seeley was preceded in death by his mother, Louie M. (French) Seeley. He lived in Security before moving to Haxtun in March and also was a former resident of Aurora and Altura. Mr. Seeley was a member of Manitou Springs Masonic Lodge 68, Rocky Mountain Consistory No. 2 in Denver and the Al Kaly Shrine in Pueblo.

He was married June 6, 1954, in Aurora, to Mildred J. Peterson, who survives.

In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Seeley is survived by a brother, Donald H. of Security; and four sisters, Leona Rainwater of Louisiana, Minnie Peterson of Denver, and Dorothy Freitas and Helen V. Woolman, both of California.
