PROVO – Mrs. Hattie Maud Seeley, wife of William B. Seeley, Indianola sheepman, died Sunday at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Symes, 315 North Callister court, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Seely had been staying with Mr. and Mry SYmes during the past five days.

She was born July 18, 1884, in Forest Spring, Mo., daughter of Thomas and Mary Kimball Merryweather. She had lived in Indianola for the past 20 years, and was president of the Parent-Teacher association of that district. She was an active member of the L.D.S. church, having served as Relief society president of the Indianola ward for seven years and Sunday school teacher for several years.

Besides her husband and father, surviving are three sons and four daughters: William Percel Seeley, Wellington Justice Seeley, Dewey Seeley and Miss Lucile Seeley, Indianola: Mrs. Vida Graham, Melborne: Mrs. Mary M. Erickson, Colton, and Mrs. Deon Spencer, Halen; one sister and one brother, Mrs. Mamie Libwell and Dewey Merryweather, Vanita, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Berg mortuary.
