Mrs. Helen Seeley

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Alban Lutheran Church for Mrs. Helen Seeley, 91, who died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Homme Home for the Aged, Wittenberg.

Mrs. Seeley was a former resident of the Alban area and a member of the Alban Church.

Born in Norway on June 30, 1868, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jens Haroldson. She was married in Iola on April 11, 1894, to Amy Seeley, who died a number of years ago.

Mrs. Seeley is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Beilecke, Bessemer, Mich.; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Tom Halverson, Eland, and a brother, Harry Haroldson, Galloway.

The Rev. V.H. Holtan will officiate at the funeral services, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the Schmidt Funeral Home, Wittenberg, from Friday evening until noon Saturday, and from 1 p.m. until the time of the services at the church.

Mrs. Seeley’s Funeral

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Alban Lutheran Church for Mrs. Helen Seeley of the Homme Home for the Aged at Wittenberg, who died last Wednesday.

The Rev. V.H. Holtan officiated, and burial took place in the parish cemetery.

During the services, Mrs. Andrew Nelson sage “I know of a Sleep in Jesus’ Name” and “If Thou Would Suffer God to Guide Thee.”

Pallbearers were Thomas Haroldson, Duane Dobbe, James Haroldson, Thomas Halverson, Harold Deode and Dennis Seeley Jr.

Attending from a distance were relatives and friends from Milwaukee, Bessemer, Mich., and nearby areas.
