Mrs. Cecil Seeley, Waitress Was 47

Mrs. Cecil A. Seeley, 47, 10 Red Barn road, Hyde Park, died yesterday at St. Francis’ hospital after a long illness. The former Helen Frazier, she was the daughter of the late William I. and Florence Souza Frazier.

Mrs. Seeley was born in Poughkeepsie and was educated at St. Peter’s school and Poughkeepsie High school. She was married to the late Cecil A. Seeley in 1939. Mrs. Seeley had lived in Hyde Park for the last 13 years and before that had lived in Poughkeepsie. She had been a waitress and in 1957 and 1958 was hostess at The Kitchen, Hyde Park. A communicant of Regina Coeli church, Hyde Park, she had been a member of the church sodality.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. William I. Frazier: two daughters, Sheryl Ann and Gayle Frances, Hyde Park: two brothers, Walter and Benjamin Frazier, Hyde Park: a sister, Mrs. Frances Steinbach, Poughkeepsie, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be from Sweet’s Funeral home, Hyde Park, Friday at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Requiem celebrated at Regina Coeli church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Peter’s cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and tomorrow night. The rosary will be offered tomorrow night at 8 o’clock.
