Mr. Howard E. Seeley
April 29, 1918 - January 20, 2007
Howard E. Seeley, 88, formerly of Claremont, NH, and more recently of Springfield, VT, died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at his home following a period of failing health. He was born on April 29, 1918, the son of Lindsey and Jessie (Dickerson) Seeley. On April 25, 1941 he married the former, Evelyn M. Warren, she predeceased him on December 8, 2002. He was a WWII Veteran, who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was employed by Bryant Grinder Corporation for 41 years until his retirement in 1980. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge #1201. He very much enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by two sisters, Winifred Rowland and Hazel_Gott, as well as one brother, Linwood Seeley. Members of his surviving family include two daughters, Linda Haines of Springfield, VT, Donna Reynolds of Sunapee, NH, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Helen Babcock of Hampden Highlands, Maine, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont, on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 1PM with the Rev. Donna Leslie, officiating. Private committal services will be held at a later date in Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont.
