Elkland, Pa., - Hugh A. Seeley, 68, of 129 Coolidge Ave., died Monday evening at his home following an apparent heart seizure.

He was born in the Town of Woodhull Oct. 18, 1910, the son of Charles B. and Bertha Allen Seeley. He was married to the former Lucy Cady.

He was a retired Elkland Leather Company equipment operator.

Surviving are his wife, Lucy; four sons, Raymond of Troupsburg, John of Westfield, Louis of Osceola, and Harry of Corning, N.Y., and three daughters, Lois Crane of Osceola, Ruth Kizer of Elkland and Kathleen Hartman of Woodhull, N.Y.

Also surviving are four brothers, Lester of Painted Post, N.Y., Leon of Campbell, N.Y., Reed of Elkland RD1 and Earl of Coudersport; four sisters, Ella Mitchum of Coudersport, Dorothy Black of Coudersport, Bernice Woodworth of South Dakota and Atha Lewis of Troupsburg; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the H.P. Smith and Son Funeral Home in Woodhull today 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be there Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Door Harrington officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Town of Troupsburg.
