SEELEY, Irvin Elvin, 80, of Sebring, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2002 at Florida Hospital Orlando. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2002 in the Chapel of The Palms of Sebring at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Emily Mumma will officiate. Mr. Seeley was born June 2, 1922 in Lodi, Ohio and had been a resident of Sebring since 2000, moving from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was a supervisor for General Motors and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and attended Rainbow Apostolic Church in Sebring. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Arvelle Seeley, Sebring; Son Larry (&Cheryl) Seeley, Akron, Ohio; Michael (&Pam) Hursey, Houston, Texas; Robert (&Connie) Hursey, Chattanooga, Tennessee; Daughters Sharole Vacha, Ft. Myers, Florida; Diana (&Victor) Duecker, Efland, North Carolina; Brother Bernard Seeley, Chippewa Lake, Ohio; Sister Emily (&Edward) Jenkins, Glendale, Arizona; 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Jim Seeley, Akron, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Choice. Arrangements entrusted to Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Sebring Florida.
