Jacob Kenneth Seeley (1936 - 2012)
Friendsville, PA: Jacob Kenneth Seeley, 75, of Friendsville, PA went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at his home. Born January 21, 1936 in Lake Ariel, PA, he was the son of the late Jacob Edward and Mildred Martha (Stark) Seeley. He worked for Ashcraft Excavating Company for 15 years and then for Solid Seal Systems and Landfill Service Corporation for 20 years until his retirement. He served in the Army. He was a member of Birchardville Baptist Church and loved woodworking. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shirley (Hendrickson) Seeley of Friendsville, PA, daughter & son-in-law, Melonie & Chad Fotusky of Whitney Point, NY, grandchildren, Eli, Russell, Joanie & Randy, 10 great grandchildren, sisters, Mildred Staff of Lake Ariel, PA, Beverly Mahoney of Scranton, PA. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Zech.
Services: 2PM Sunday at Birchardville Baptist Church, State Route 267, Birchardville, PA. Visitation: 1 hour prior to services on Sunday at the church. Instead of flowers: memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
