Aged Ashton Matron Dies

ASHTON, Feb. 17. – Mrs. Jennie Seeley, 81, longtime resident of Ashton, died Monday night in a Blackfoot hospital.

Mrs. Seeley was a charter member of Clover Leaf Rebekas Lodge, organized in 1908 and was a member of the Community Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Emory Seeley, Boise and a daughter, Mrs. Grace Manley, Cincinnati, Ohio, and a grand daughter.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Community Methodist Church with the Rev. Mervyn Shay officiating.

The body is at the Kiser Funeral Home.

ASHTON, Feb. 21 – Final rites for Mrs. Jennie Seeley, 81, long-time Ashton resident who died at a Blackfoot hospital Monday, were held at the Ashton Community Methodist church Friday with the Rev. Mervyn Shay officiating.

Musical number included a duet by mrs. Ema Hubbard and Mrs. John Davidson and a solo by Mrs. Merlin Bressler. The Rev. Shay offered the invocation and benediction. Mrs. Ralph Strum play the prelude and postlude music. Cloverleaf Rebekah lodge was in charge of the graveside service.

Pallbearers were R.I. Rankin, George Nedrow, Sr., Woodward Sloss, Charles Merrick, Everett C. Hesseman and Emil Strum.

Interment was in the Pineview cemetery under the direction of the Kiser Funeral Home. Ladies of the Rebekah lodge were in charge of floral arrangements.
