JESSIE PATRICIA SEELEY (nee CUTHBERT) On May 16, 2000, peacefully, at River East Personal Care Home, Mom passed away. Mom was born in Winnipeg. She was married to Harvey who predeceased her in May of 1959. She was also predeceased by her infant son Glen, infant daughter Cora Sue; grandson Billy; brother Tom and sister Dorothy. She worked for many years in Eatons Mail Order, Department 119, retiring there as one of the last mail order employees. She served on the board of the Unity Truth Centre for a number of years. Her main interest revolved around her family and friends. She touched all of our lives with that special something that no words can describe. Left to remember her are her two daughters Eleanor Reid (Bill) of Rancho Mirage, CA., Maryanne/Marnie Thomas (Dick) and her sister Dorothy Jayne Calvert of Winnipeg. She leaves two grandchildren Maryanne Rutledge of Tulsa, OK and Scott Reid of Minneapolis, MN. Aunty Pat was also loved by some very special nieces, Lynne Pascoe (who shared not only her room but also helped to look after her in later years), Glenda Crawford, Carol Phillips, Janet Summers (who predeceased her) Susan Sanness and Eleanor Labelle. Our special thanks to the staff at River East Personal Care Home, your care of Mom was exceptional and your compassion for our family boundless. Mom we are what we are because of you and you have left us strong enough to carry on. You will always be a part of our lives. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19 in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
