John Ray Seeley Jr., age 32, died on Saturday, August 27, 2005.
He was born in Los Angeles, CA, on November 3, 1972. He was preceded in death by his father, John Ray Seeley Sr., his maternal grandparents, John R. Moore and Janie E. Moore of Wilmington; and his paternal grandparents, Merlin Seeley of Maine and Edith Seeley of California.
He is survived by his mother, Carrie Seeley of Wilmington; one brother, Haywood Seeley of Wilmington; one sister, Janie E. Hook and husband Terry of Camden, SC; two nephews, Shane and Jeremy Hook of Camden, SC; and a special close friend, Jay Brock.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Andrews Mortuary, Market Street Chapel, and at other times at his mothers home, 13 S Lincoln Court, Wilmington.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome to say a few words and then Rev. Bennita Herring, aunt of John Seeley, will offer an ending prayer.
Pallbearers will be Butch Donatelli, Mike Donatelli, John Kelly, Johnny Moore, Junior Moore and Bobby Moore.
John was not a fancy dresser, he was just John. You took him the way he was. We will miss you, his aunt and uncle, Ida and Butch Donatelli. Rest in Peace nephew.
