Joseph N. Seeley, 53, of 62 Delafield St., died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Newburgh, Oct. 1, 1917, he was the son of Joseph N. and Louise (Ference) Seeley. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Formerly of Newburgh, Mr. Seeley had resided in Poughkeepsie the last 25 years. He was a chauffer for the DuBois Cab Co.

Mr. Seeley is survived by his mother, Mrs. Seeley, Poughkeepsie: a sister, Mrs. William (Vera) Cohan, Philadelphia, Pa., and several aunts and uncles.

Friends may call at the Fraleigh Funeral Home, 41 Marshall St., tonight and Friday, 7 to 9 o’clock. The Rosary will be recited on Friday at 8 o’clock.

The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Requiem being celebrated at 9:30 o’clock at Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
