Joseph P. Seeley, 50, of Lake Ariel, died Sunday at his home. Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Harold and Mary Rog Seeley.
He resided in Lake Ariel for the past 25 years.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Before his illness, he was employed by the Celotex Corp, Harding, Exeter Township.
He was a member of St. Thomas More Church, Lake Ariel.
Surviving are his wife, the former Joan Casal; a son, Manuel, and a daughter, Jennifer, both of Lake Ariel; brothers, Stanley, Inkerman, Jenkins Township; John, Avoca; a sister, Ann Marie Dugan, Wallingford, Conn.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday from the Wilson Funeral Home, Route 296, Lake Ariel, with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Ledgedale, with the Rev. Edward Scott, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in East Canaan Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
