Laura Marie “Mickie” Seeley

Former Vancouver resident Laura “Mickie” Seeley died of a stroke Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, in Portland. She was 66. Mrs. Seeley, a homemaker, was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Los Angeles. She attended school in Vancouver and moved to Portland after she married. Her maiden name was Dorson.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Milton, at home; one daughter, Brenda Moore; four stepchildren; one sister, Louise Galbreath of Vancouver; and 17 grandchildren.

Mrs. Seeley liked playing cards, bowling and sewing.

A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes in Portland.
