Laurence E. Seeley, 54, of 4231 N. 14th St. died at 7:05 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 1990, in his residence. He was a retired brake operator for J.I. Case. He was born June 10, 1936, in Terre Haute to Elmer Seeley Sr. and Ethel Shoemaker Seeley. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Morris Seeley; three daughters, Tamara, Mary and Loretta Seeley of Terre Haute; three brothers, Elmer Jr. of Hymera, Robert of Texas, and Donald of Terre Haute; one sister, Betty Klein of Marshall, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of North Terre Haute Christian Church, Eagles 291, Elk Lodge, American Legion Post 104, Terre Haute Bowling Association, the 700 Club, the Greater Terre Haute Bowlers Hall of Fame and the United Auto Workers Local 689. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday in DeBaun Idaho Street Chapel, with Jim Coyle officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today.
