MRS. LEAH SEELEY

Of Stormstown, Port Matilda RD, died unexpectedly at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in the Centre County Hospital, Bellefonte. She was born in Hollidaysburg on March 5, 1923, a daughter of Charles S. and Lilly (Hughes) Fletcher, and married Ralph M. Seeley Jr. Surviving are her husband, three children, Ralph 3rd, Leanne and Linnea, all at home, her parents of Hollidaysburg and a brother and sister, Mrs. Mary F. Kitner of Baltimore, Md., and Charles S. of New Orleans, La. Mrs. Seeley was a member of the Stormstown Methodist Church and Halfmoon WSCS, the Halfmoon Garden Club, Hemlock Girl Scout Council and originator of the Stormstown Girl Scout troop. Holding B.A. and M.Q. degrees from Bucknell, she had served as a part-time professor of English at the Pennsylvania State University and was a member of the College Area Park and Recreation Board.

SEELEY – Private services for Mrs. Leah (Fletcher) Seeley of Stormstown, Port Matilda, RD will be held at 4 p.m. today in the Koch Funeral Home, State College, by the Rev. Donald Drake. Committal service and interment at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gray’s Cemetery, Stormstown.
