Illness Fatal to Woman, 57

SPANISH FORK – Mrs. Lida LaVerda Spencer Seeley, 57, 7774 N. 3rd W., died at the Spanish Fork Hospital early this morning after a long illness.

She was born June 20, 1910, in Payson, a daughter of Elmer and Roxie Vest Spencer. She married William Percel Seeley at the Manti LDS Temple May 31, 1928. He died Dec. 28, 1960. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was educated in Indianola schools.

She is survived by three sons; William Bert Seeley of Manti, Lon P. Seeley of Spanish Fork and Arthur Ray Seeley of Anadell, Va.; her mother Mrs. Roxie Gull of Spanish Fork; five grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Elmer Glade Spencer and Vee W. Spencer and Mrs. Leon (Dorothy) Smith, all of Spanish Fork, Mrs. Mack (Lucy) Pickering of Springville and Mrs. Leon (Betty) Smith of American Fork.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Spanish Fork Sixth Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Merrill Clark officiating. Friends may call at Linde Chapel of Memories Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. Interment in Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
