Lillian Seeley Longtime Waterville resident

WALLINGFORD - Lillian Seeley, formerly of Nottingam Terrace in Waterbury, went to her eternal resting place Friday evening, July 25, 2008. She was 81 years old. Masonicare in Wallingford was her home for the past three years.

Lillian was born in the Waterville section of Waterbury on March 20, 1927, daughter of the late Percival F. and Anna M. (Stetson) MacMullen. She attended Leavenworth High School and worked many years for Wheeler Wire and Scovill Mfg. She was an active member of the Casper Davis Drum Corps.

Lil is survived by her son, Jack L. Seeley Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of North Carolina; a daughter, Martha Carrejo and her husband, John, of Thomaston; as well as a granddaughter, Jennifer Seeley of California. She also leaves three sisters, Alice MacMullen of North Haven, Edna Leavenworth of Sandisfield, Mass., Murtle E. Ross and her husband, Edward, of Waterbury; and a brother, John H. MacMullen and his wife, Melanie, of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Lillian is predeceased by a son, Kane, and grandson, Michael Seeley.

Her wonderful personality gained her much love from family and friends. She is gone but will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday morning at Snyder Funeral Home, 114 Willow St., Waterbury, with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.snyderfh.net.
