In Danbury, Aug. 13, 2005, Mrs. Lorraine A. Seeley, 69. She was the wife of James F. Seeley Jr.

Arrangements: Mass 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family at Charter Oak Crematory, Oxford. Calling hours 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.

Mrs. Seeley had a great love for gardening and flowers. She and her husband celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on Aug. 31, 2004.

Among her survivors are sons-in-law Glenn Neves of Newtown, and Timothy O'Neil of New Milford, Thomas Johnston of Middlebury; grandchildren Jackie, Dale, Nicholas, Troy, Jessica, Alexandra and Olivia, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Seeley's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Lorraine A. Seeley, age 69, of Danbury, died Saturday August 13, 2005, at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of James F. Seeley Jr.

She was born Feb. 18, 1936 in Danbury, daughter of the late Donald and Gilda (Borges) Carrine.

She was a graduate of Danbury High School Class of 1955.

She began her working career Barden Corp. then Risdon Corp. and to Davis and Geck where she retired after 20-plus years of service.

She had a great love for gardening and flowers. She and her husband celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on August 31, 2004.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, James F. Seeley III of Danbury; daughters, Christine Neves and her husband Glenn of Newtown, Theresa O'Neil and her husband Timothy of New Milford, and Judith Johnston and her husband Thomas of Middlebury; a brother, Donald Carrine of Port Orange, Fla.; her sisters, Lucille Ferry of Kent and Jane Alger of New Milford; grandchildren, Jackie, Dale, Nicholas, Troy, Jessica, Alexandra and Olivia; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family at Charter Oak Crematory, Oxford.

Friends will be received at the Green funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
