SEELEY, Lowell E. Age 80 of W. Carrollton, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Kettering Medical Center. He was born May 24, 1928 in Haverhill, Ohio, the son of the late Lowell L. & Margaret E. (Porter) Seeley. A retired employee of Standard Register with 40 years of service, a member of the VFW Post #3438, and the American Legion Post #165, he honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his wife Flora Ann Seeley, and 2 brothers. Survivors include his son Larry E. Seeley of Dayton, 2 daughters Jackie Campbell of Middletown, Connie S. McMurchy of Carlisle, his brother Don Seeley and wife Barb of Oxford, 6 grandchildren Jennifer Slone and husband Gary, Elizabeth Seeley, Sondra Seeley, Mathew McMurchy and wife Melissa, Joshua McMurchy, Lowell Charles Seeley, 5 great grandchildren, his son-in-law Dan McMurchy of Carlisle, his sister-in-law Beechie Broadus of Moraine, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. Rev. Mark Scroggins officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
