NORWOOD — The funeral for Luell E. Seeley, 93, Wadsworth, Ohio, formerly of Ocala, Fla., and Ogdensburg and Norwood, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Buck Funeral Home with the Rev. James E. Barnes II, pastor of Potsdam United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Seeley died Tuesday afternoon at Magnolia Nursing Home, Wadsworth.

A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Seeley was a machinist for Kendall-LaMar Corp., Potsdam, and retired from the Aluminum Company of America, Massena, in 1981.

Born May 7, 1915, in Rensselaer Falls, he was a son of Earl J. and Orva Wheater Seeley.

He married Florence Swezey. She died before him.

He married Leona Camp on Jan. 2, 1942, in Norwood. She died Sept. 8, 1970. He married Mary Hall in November 1971. She died Dec. 12, 1994.

Mr. Seeley was a World War II veteran, having served with the 42nd Rainbow Division in the European Theater of operations. He was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church for many years and a member of the Ocala (Fla.) West United Methodist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, MaryLu Kearney, Miller Place, Gail Philipp, Centereach, Sandra Shook, Wadsworth, Ohio, and Valerie Vasan, Florida; a brother, Eugene Seeley, Canton; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A daughter, Linda Sharlow, Norfolk, died before him.
