Margaret Elizabeth Seeley

Margaret Elizabeth Seeley, 81, a resident of the Washington area since 1958, died Sept. 23 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center after a heart attack. She had been hospitalized after a hip fracture.

Mrs. Seeley, who lived in Rossmoor Leisure World in Silver Spring, was born in Indianapolis. Before moving to Washington, she accompanied her husband, retired Army Brig. Gen. Sam Foster Seeley, on foreign assignments to Europe and the Philippines.

In addition to her husband, of Silver Spring, survivors include a son, Army Col. Sam Seeley of Washington, a daughter, Mildred Weaver of Olney, and four grandchildren.

Seeley, USA; grandmother of Margaret Elizabeth Burkholder of Richmond, Va., Sgt. William Weaver, USA, of Ft. Bragg, N.C., Kathleen Stephens of San Antonio, Texas and Mary Frances Weaver of Olney, Md. Friends may call at Hines/Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire ave., Silver Spring, Md. (parking on premises), Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday, September 26 at 1 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
