FRAMINGHAM – Sister Robinia Seeley, C.S.J. (Margaret F. Seeley), a beloved member of the Congregation of the Sister of St. Joseph for 67 years and the Bethany Community in Framingham, died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at the Bethany Healthcare Center in Framingham.

Born in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Margaret (Crogan) Seeley.

She was formerly missioned at the Motherhouse, Brighton; St. Joseph Manor, Dorchester; St. Lazarus, East Boston; Catherine Moore House, Boston; Sacred Heart, Stoughton; and St. Joseph, Amesbury.

She leaves her cousins, Anne Burke Hampton of New Hampshire and Lucy Sheridan of New Jersey.

She was the sister of the late Catherine Seeley.

Visiting hours at St. Joseph Hall, 93 Bethany Road, Framingham, will be Friday, April 20 from 3 to 5 and 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a funeral Mass in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham.

Prayers of final Commendation will be Saturday, April 21, at 9:30 a.m., in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, with burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., Framingham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Friends of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135.
