Mrs. Seeley, 68, Dies in Hospital

Mrs. Marguerite J. Seeley, 68, of 1542 South Ave., died last night in Midtown Hospital after a long illness. A life resident of Syracuse, she was a member of Elmwood Presbyterian Church.

She was the widow of Joseph H. Seeley, an Onondaga County sheriff’s deputy before his death.

Surviving are three sons, Patrolman Alexander L. Seeley of Solvay and Patrolman Joseph Seeley, both members of the Syracuse Police Department, and Bruce E. Seeley; a daughter Mrs. A. King Erhard, and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fairchild & Meech Funeral Home, 500 W. Onondaga St., the Rev. A. Thomas Quindlen officiating. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
