Hobart - Marilynn J. Seeley nee Erickson, age 74 of Hobart, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2004 at her residence. She was a lifelong Hobart resident, and was a member of Hobart Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered by her family as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Marilynn is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Richard "Dick"; children Diane (John) MacDonald of Hobart, Richard Seeley III of Valparaiso, Ronald (Kathy) Seeley of Hobart; brothers Jack (Lois) Erickson of DeMotte and twin brother Robert (Phyllis) Erickson of Kouts; grandchildren Jill MacDonald, Michael MacDonald, CarolAnn Baker, Ronald Seeley, Jr., Jacob Seeley and Jeffrey Seeley; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Irving and Evelyn Erickson and brother Donald Erickson. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice or to Hobart Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2004 at Hobart Presbyterian Church, 60 N. Washington St., Hobart, with Rev. Jeffery C. Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Visiting hours will be 2 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart.
