SANTAQUIN – Funeral services for Marion Carlos Seeley, 90, of 44 N. 3rd E., Santaquin, who died Saturday at the Central Utah Extended Care Center in Provo after a lingering illness, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Linde Mortuary, 519 N. Main, Spanish Fork.

Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 o’clock and Tuesday before services. Burial will be in the Roosevelt City Cemetery under the direction of Fred Holladay, mortician.

Mr. Seeley was born Oct. 23, 1881, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Don Carlos and Hannah Elizabeth Reynolds Seeley. He married Laura Hansen Feb. 18, 1903 in Castle Dale. She died July 14, 1964.

Mr. Seeley was a miner in Carbon County mines. He moved to the Uintah Basin in 1927 where he was a rancher and farmer. He lived in Bluebell, Duchesne County, until moving to Santaquin three years ago. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include one daughter and four sons, Mrs. Fred (Betty Lou) Halladay, Santaquin; Francis Marion Seeley, Pendleton, Calif.; Movell Seeley, Ogden; Wallace J. Seeley, Bluebell; Afton D. Seeley, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
