Martha Ann Seeley, 82, Harvard, formerly of Mattoon, former telephone operator, died Wednesday (Feb. 5, 1997).

Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Mattoon. Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, Mattoon. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Memorials: American Cancer Society or Mattoon Community Food Center.

Martha Ann Seeley was born December 14, 1914, in Mattoon, a daughter of James P. and Rosina Klein Sullivan. She married John Clinton Seeley, February 8, 1936 in Mattoon, he preceded in death. Surviving are a son, Ronald Seeley and his wife Diane of Harvard, IL; one sister, Marie Martz of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Brenda Moore of Naperville, IL, Thomas Seeley of McHenry, IL, Robert Seeley of Greenwood, Delaware, and Mark Seeley of Binghamton, N.Y.; great-grandchildren, Shannon, David and Brian Moore, Daniel, Aubrey, Ryan, Jennifer and Kristine Seeley. Mrs. Seeley was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John Joseph Seeley; four brothers, Dennis, Edward, Maurice and James V. Sullivan; and two sisters, Rose and Agnes Sullivan. Mrs. Seeley was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Mattoon Community Food Center.
