MRS. MARY H. SEELEY

Mrs. Mary Seeley, of Osceola, died Thursday morning. She was born at Nelson, April 26, 1854, daughter of Samuel and Kathryn Knapp Hazlett. In early life she joined the Methodist church at Nelson, and during her life has been a faithful attendant. On September 15, 1887 was married to Judd Seeley, of Osceola. She is survived by a step-son, Samuel, of Osceola, a nephew, Floyd Hazlett, of Buffalo; a niece, Mrs. Harry Johnson, of New Hartford, N. Y., a cousin, Mrs. Jessie Turner, of Addison.

Funeral services were held Saturday; burial in Fairview cemetery at Osceola, Rev. A.E. Matthews, pastor of the Osceola Methodist church, officiating.

Mrs. Judd Seeley

Osceola – Mrs. Mary H. Seeley, 82, widow of Judd D. Seeley, died at her home here last Thursday.

Mrs. Seeley was born at Nelson April 28, 1854, a daughter of Samuel and Catherine Hazlett. On September 15, 1889 she became the wife of Judd Seeley at Osceola.

In early life, Mrs. Seeley became a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Nelson and had been a faithful member. During her many years of residence she has endeared herself to the people of the community.

Mrs. Seeley is survived by a step-son, Samuel Seeley; one nephew, Floyd Hazlett, of Buffalo; one niece, Mrs. Harry Johnson, of New Hartford, N.Y., and the following cousins, Mrs. Ethel Bruce and Miss Letica Baldwin, of Elmira; and Mrs. Jessie Turner, of Addison.

The following step-grandchildren also survive; Rex Seeley and Mrs. Dora Church of Osecola; Mrs. Beryl Bishop, of Knoxville; Allen Seeley, of Oscola; Ralph Seeley, of Hartford, Conn.; and Mrs. Mary West, of Tiaga.
