Fort Edward - Michael Robert Seeley, 40, of Campbell Drive, went into the Lord's arms, Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Glens Falls on Oct. 23, 1964, he was the son of Terry Robert and Kathie Martha (Wilkins) Seeley of Fort Edward.

Michael was a 1982 graduate of Hudson Falls High School, a graduate of Cobleskill College and also attended FSU, Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla. For 20 years, Michael worked for Glens Falls National Bank and currently was the Branch Manager of the Main Office and Assistant Vice President. He formerly managed deposit services and was accredited through ACH Professional and recently received his AAP Degree in banking.

Michael was active in the Children's Museum, the Glens Falls Rotary, past treasurer of the Fort Edward Chamber, the 4-H club of Washington County, and was one of the youngest to apply to Hartwick College at 9 years old.

During high school, Michael sang and acted in many school plays. He was an international representative through Rotary and traveled through India for six weeks.

He enjoyed camping at King Phillips camp ground, Lake George, traveling the world, shopping, sightseeing. Michael was an avid collector who loved animals and raised dogs for the Guiding Eyes for the Blind program.

Michael was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Seeley, his maternal grandparents, William and Ruth Wilkins, his aunts, Adair Moss and Lupe Gonyea and godparents, Paul and Tanis Carpentier.

Survivors besides his parents of Fort Edward include his partner of 14 years, Duane Henning, of Fort Edward; his brother, Scott Seeley and his wife; Cindy, his niece and godchild, Heather Seeley, his nephews, Rick and Byron, all of Merritt Island, Fla.; his grandfather, Clifton Seeley of Glens Falls and several aunts, uncles, cousins and his dogs, Akron and Keuka, and his cats, Yuki and Jasmine.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at St. Joseph Church, 164 Broadway, Fort Edward.

Pallbearers will be William Wilkins, Tim Seeley, Tom Williams, Brian Hafner, Harold Sharer, George Harris.

The Rite of Committal will be at the convenience of the family.
