Mildred S. "Millie" Seeley, 70, of Angola died Sunday (Sept. 18, 2011) at Lake Shore Hospital, Irving.

She was born June 27, 1941 in Silver Creek, the daughter of the late Ethan and Marabell (Robinson) Seeley.

A lifelong area resident, Millie was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved animals, feeding them and donating funds to different humane societies and wildlife conservation groups. She also will be remembered for her artistic drawings and creativity.

Survivors include her three daughters, Becky L. (Bill) Hamm of Angola, Jamie S. (Ellsworth) Nolan of Irving and Jody R. Shevlin of Beaufort, S.C.; one son, Scott Shevlin of Angola; a brother, Emon G. Seeley of Georgia; 13 grandchildren, Aaron (Amy) Nolan, Matthew (Tina) Hamm, Josh Nolan, Billy Hamm, Caleb, Nichole and Jessica Gebauer, Zach Schrantz, Christopher, Shantel, Jordan and Levi Shevlin and Lynsey Nolan. Also six great grandchildren, Brooke, Blake, Madison, Mackensie, Kohl and David; a sister-in-law, Ginny Seeley of Versailles, NY; and a brother-in-law, Emmett Green of Irving, NY along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ethan Seeley Jr.; and a sister, Marabelle Green.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel today, Sept. 21, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral chapel Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at 11 a.m.
