Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Seeley

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow for Mrs. Minerva Seeley, 95, former welfare worker in this city, who died here yesterday. Services are scheduled at 20 Smith street, at 2:30 o’clock. The Rev. Joseph H. Rainear Jr., minister of the Washington Street Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Poughkeepsie Rural cemetery. Friends may call at 20 Smith street, tonight.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Addie Whitlow, this city: a step-son, Frank Seeley, city: two step-daughters, Mrs. Olive Olson, city and Mrs. Caroline Barton, Highland: a sister, Mrs. Cora Lawson, Wappingers Falls: five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her husband Frank Seeley, died in 1940.

Mrs. Seeley was a life member of Betsey Ross council, Sons and Daughters of Liberty.
