BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - Myrl "Lee" Leroy Seeley, 74, of Brooksville, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Heron Point Health & Rehabilitation Center in Brooksville.

He was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Norfolk, Va., the son of the late William H. and Cora M. (Puckett) Seeley. He had resided in Tampa for 22 years before moving to Dade City in 2003, and previously had resided in Seabrook, N.H.

Mr. Seeley spent his entire career working in electronics. A veteran, he served from 1956 to 1960 with the U.S. Air Force.

He shared 32 years of marriage with his wife, Janice E. (Walton) Seeley.

In addition to his wife, family members include three daughters, Darlene M. Seeley/Weghorst of Raymond, N.H., Laurie L. D'Amore of Haverhill, Mass., and Barbara M. Seeley of Stow, Mass.; his stepson, Warren S. Eaton of Dade City; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his stepson, Richard Eaton Jr., and stepdaughter Laura H. Perkins.

WE REMEMBER: Mr. Seeley worked for Western Electric in Andover, Mass.; AVCO, an Air Force defense contractor; and Data General in Portsmouth, N.H., and Tampa. He also owned and operated Hampton TV for several years.

Since 1990, he had been a Ham radio operator with call sign W4CKT. Mr. Seeley was a member of the Portsmouth, N.H., and Tampa Amateur Radio Clubs, the East Pasco Amateur Radio Society and AARL, the Amateur Radio Relay League.

SERVICES: Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, N.H. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Private burial will at a later date. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
